Giving, Sharing and Remembering

Each Christmas season brings warm thoughts of memorable experiences of holidays spent with loved ones. As you gather your circle of friends and family to celebrate, take time to recall the joys of Christmases past. . . and create new memories for younger generations to cherish. Each year we look forward to decorating for the holidays. As we pull boxes of memories and carefully unpack each one, our hearts return to those fun filled Christmases of childhood. It's the little things we recall so vividly. . . the aroma of cookies pulled from the oven, the comfort of snuggling beneath a cozy warm quilt, the thrill of laying on the floor by the fully decorated tree in the darkened living room with only the lights on the tree glowing and making wishes. The look in the eyes of a child on Christmas morning. The joys of being together with family. The special time that we remember the saviors birth.
For such marvelous memories I express deep gratitude. At Christmas and throughout the year remember to appreciate the Savior's gifts. He is, in deed the one who bestows the riches of eternity upon those who love him. Have a wonderful time this Christmas, and remember the special ways we choose to celebrate the holidays now will become the traditions we honor in years to come.

"Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love".
