Katie Burkhart - pitcher for the ASU Sundevils
Last night I was invited to go with my son Jason's family to an ASU girls softball game, the were playing Oregon. I love to watch baseball and softball. My grandaughter Taylor is playing softball this year and their leqgue were the guests of ASU for this game. Taylor was going to throw out the first pitch. I picked up my grandaughter Morgan to ride down with me to Tempe. The game started at 6:30 and the weather was beautiful. Taylor's team got to have some one on one time with the team before the game and tour their locker rooms.. Then they announced the Sun Devils and they all ran on to the field, the ASU team and our PVGS (Paradise Valley Girls Softball) girls. They announced the first pitch would be thrown by TAYLOR HARPER.. We all cheered and she did great. She said it was weird not to have her cleats on, her footing slipped..
the game was so much fun.
The ASU softball team is ranked number "1" in the nation with a record of 46-5. The evening was beautiful and the company was great.
& the Sun Devils WON again
Fun evening all around..

Taylor..aspiring softball pitcher.. Loves the sport and loves pitching
