On Thursday Kristan and I went to Cottonwood to return the wine barrel that we had borrowed for the prop in the production of Oliver. Then we drove to Prescott to visit the scrapbook store Scrapbookish, that has a new owner. Cute store and the new owner Stormie has such great energy and so many wonderful ideas for the store. That evening I attended Kristan's class on digital scrapbooking using the Memory Mixer program. A great class and I learned some fun new techniques. On Friday I cleaned house in the morning and then spent the afternoon with my friend Connie running errands and then we went out to dinner at a new restaurant in North Scottsdale called Harvest Restaurant. Wonderful service and terrific food. I chose the chicken picata and when I took the first bite I was in heaven.. Honestly the best thing I have had to eat at a restaurant in a very long time. I have those places I love to go and have a favorite dish and this will be added to my list of favorites. I had enough left to take home for dinner on Saturday.. Still wonderful..
Saturday I worked on the samples for my embossed card class the first week in February and finished them and then watched "27 Dresses".
This morning I attended church at my son Jason's ward because 3 of my grandaughters were singing. Karleigh, Taylor & Maddy were joined by their friend Lucy, they sang "How Great Thou Art", . They all have pretty strong voices so you could hear the different parts as they sang, it was beautiful & the harmony was so pretty. Next Sunday I will go to my daughter Kristan's ward because my grandaughter Karleigh is singing again.
This week I have my monthly "All About Me" class and we are creating a layout about the 2009 Holiday's and starting to fill out questions about our lives growing up. Will share those pages next week.
