As I looked at my calendar I realized I hadn't posted anything in two weeks.. I have been busy every day with something:
*Spent many days helping my friend Connie sort, pack and move out of her house and move into her new abode. Shopped with her for new furniture and had a great time looking and choosing. She is now almost settled and I love that she is really close to me now..just 5 minutes away..
* Sat in on my 2nd Boy Scout board of review for several boys who were getting advancements and honors.. The boys are so great and I love getting to know them better.
* My monthly card class was the next day and we created six great cards.. This month I even added making an envelope to match one of the cards.. Everyone seemed to really like it and want to do it from now on.

* Attended a tournament basket ball game that my grandson Grant played in.. They won!* My grandaughter Taylor was performing in the musical "Footloose" at her high school, so I joined her family for one of the performances. The high schools really do put on fantastic shows. Taylor was in the chorus and sang and danced.. What a great performer she is.. So much energy and talent.

* Last Saturday morning I was getting things set up to work on my class samples and Kristan called and asked what I had on my calendar for the day.. "not much", I replied and she asked me if I would like to drive to California with her to pick up my grandson Dylan.. So we had a day trip to Indio California and back.. a fun day.
*Attended an Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game with Steve & Karen and family. Steve had gotten great tickets.. We were in a suite and it was a very fun evening.

* This Thursday evening I attended the Tri-M Music Honor Society at Shadow Mountain H.S. My grandaughter Karleigh was being inducted. I was so very proud of her and her honor. The choir members that were selected sang the "National Anthem" and I got so chocked up and had tears in my eyes, Karleigh looked and me and stopped singing for a minute and then couldn't look at me for the rest of the song. Karleigh and her friend Emily also performed a duet, Karleigh learned to play the piano in 5 days so she could accompany them as they sang. It was great..
My heart swells with pride when I see any one of my children or grandchildren perform or receive an honor and I am always so close to tears.. * Yesterday Kristan, our friend Carol and I drove to Tucson for the day. Kristan was doing a demo at the Pages in Progress of a new scrapbook tool and Carol and I were working on the samples for our upcoming classes.
*This week I have 2 concerts, my embossed class, an eye appointment and going with my grandson Dylan for his first visit to the Mesa Temple. So it will be another wonderful busy week..
