Wow, I have been missing on updating my blog. I've been keeping busy with classes and family..
I taught my "All About Me" monthly class on the 24th. We created pages on:
To the best of my "Recollection".. This is a page with random questions about our childhood. ie. Did your mom or dad ever find something you had hidden? Is there anything you would do differently as a teenager? Each month we have a list of questions to help us remember growing up and our lives during that period..
"My Play List", this page was focused on the music and the artists we like to listen to and their favorite songs that we love to hear.. I still need to add some pictures of my favorite artists.

This page was titles"My Hero".. Who was someone you look up to and admire for their strength and conviction. A hero doesn't need to be a famous person, we all have those people we respect and hold in esteem for their actions and their lives. I chose my daughter Kristan..who is an inspiration to me each and every day with the caring and compassionate manner she shows towards everyone she meets or is involved with. She takes each days struggles in stride and sees the good in every situation.

On Thursday the 25th, my family all met at my daughters home for my oldest grandson Dylan to open the letter from Salt Lake City with his mission call in it. It had arrived early in the day and Dylan was so very excited to find out where her would be serving. He will be in Lima Peru! We are all so very proud of him and his dedication to the gospel and his willingness to serve and teach the people of Peru. He leaves for the missionary training center in Provo, Utah on August 11th and then will report to the missionary training center in Lima Peru about two weeks later. He will serve for 2 years, that will be one of the most wonderful experiences of his life. We will miss him, but know that at this time in his life this is where he should be. The people of Peru will love him and his generous nature.

On Saturday, Kristan made a visit to our favorite scrapbook store in Prescott, Arizona called Scrapbookish.. She was teaching a class and Connie & I decided to tag along. Before we went to the scrapbook store we visited my favorite place in Prescott a little mall called Bashford Court. They have the cutest stores in there and a fantastic candy store.. The day was really fun and I got home about 11pm.
Last night I held my embossed card class in my home and had a wonderful time. Great ladies and a really fun evening..
This weekend is our General Conference from S.L.C. I love conference, it is always so inspirational to listen to all of the talks. After the last session of conference on Sunday my family & friends are all meeting at a nearby park to have our annual Easter Egg hunt and a pot luck.
