I remember Kent today

I am taking a minute to share Kent with you. It would be his birthday today and he would be 64. I have been thinking of him all day and getting a little misty and nostalgic. On my way home from the temple this morning I put on my favorite CD of Josh Grobin and drove and remembered and cried. I love the song on the CD titled "To Where You Are", it says exactly what I want to say to Kent....
"To Where You Are"
As my heart holds you
just one beat away,
I cherish all you gave me everyday
Cause you are mine
Forever love,
Watching me from up above
Fly me up
To where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile
To know you're there
a breath away's not far
To where you are
He is my eternal companion and I miss him every day. He was such a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. How he loved his children and our grandchildren. He would do anything for his family. He always said "if it will make you happy", when I asked him about anything. Above are some pictures to help us all remember the fun times we had with this great man.

Beautiful tribute to a really great guy!! One of my very first memories of Kent was when I was a car-hop at the A&W root beer stand in high school, and my boss was a real "jerk"...Kent came in for something (and I had been crying because the boss had yelled at me) and Kent left me a $10 tip!! Back in those days, $10 was a LOT of money!!! We have so many fun, fun memories of our times together...he was "one of a kind!"
Love you,
Jud
