These are pages for my All About Me class that I taught in the past. I have now Officially SOLD my house... I made my final visit on Sunday evening, walking through each room and remembering all the fun times we had in the house. I really loved the backyard for my grandchildren to run and play, have great bar-b-cues, and parties out there. I had written a letter to the new owner telling her about the house and put that and all the service agreements and warranties and manuals in a manila envelope. Then I took my keys off my key chain and put them into the envelope. As I walked out the door and it locked behind me, I thought " I can never go into this house again". Mixed feelings, sad, relieved, all the wonderful memories the HOME had for me. But now I know that someone will be there to take care of it, and I don't have to worry every day that something might happen while I'm away. No more double utilities, or insurance or taxes..YA-HOO... One door closed and another one opened for me. An exciting vision.
The future is not someplace we are
going to, but a place we are creating.
The paths to it are not found they are made.

congratulations on selling your house, Jean! I know if must be a relief.
That just really made me cry . . . I am gonna miss that house. Wish they would pick it up and take it away like our other house so we don't have to see someone else living it. I hope she makes so many changes that we won't even recognize it. Love ya mom -
