Heading North

Heading up North this week to spend some sister time with Judy. I land in Spokane and we spend a couple days shopping (the picture above is a favorite spot to shop downtown), seeing some movies, lunch and dinner out at great restaurants , & visiting with my niece and her family that live in Spokane. Then we will head over to Moscow, Idaho where Judy lives..

Cooler weather, green grass and lots of trees and the flowers are beautiful this time of year up there. The Farmers Market on Saturday mornings..fresh veggies and fruit that taste the way they are suppose to..
Judy's home is so fun to stay at, I have my own private suite downstairs and it is cool enough at night to sleep under my down comforter.. It is so fun to be back in Moscow and see old friends and relax and chill out for a while.. I have been going up there for a visit each summer & in again in the winter for many years .. in the summer to get out of the sweltering 100+ degree heat here in the desert southwest and in the winter to visit the snow which I don't get to see down here. Love this time of year to sit out on the deck in the evening and just enjoy the beautiful weather..

The hummingbirds the flutter around us in the evening, the squirrels that scurry across the yard and up the trees.. watching a pheasant cross the yard. The quiet of a small town.. heaven if I do say so....
