Staying Cool Up Here

On Tuesday Judy & I took a road trip south to Lewiston, Idaho & Clarkston, Washington for a fun day of shopping. We picked up our friend Tricia on the way out of town. Lewiston is 30 miles south of Moscow , we crossed over the Clearwater & the Snake rivers., on our way there. Lewiston is at a much lower elevation at sea level so the temp was HOTTER.. but I didn't care cause we were hitting the Eddie Bauer Outlet..yahoo..one of my favorite spots to shop.. Picked up several new things.. Love them.

We stopped for lunch at "The Sage Bakery".. had a wonderful Turkey, cranberry sandwich

After lunch we headed to Costco to see what they had that we really needed to get. Got some new walking shoes.. Found out that Costco now carries my favorite breakfast cereal..Quaker Oat Squares.. seems I can always find something I must have when I go there.
Wednesday Judy and I headed to our favorite scrapbook store to spend the morning to work on projects.. and visit with Karen the cute girl that owns the store & her right hand gal Shawna. They are so much fun to be with. Finished the samples of my cards for the up-coming class for August.

After we finished our projects we headed to one of our favorites spots for lunch. Had the Gazpacho soup and a Ruben Sandwich.. always love the lunches we have there. We have been going to Swilleys for many years & always have a great meal.

I have really been enjoying all the fresh fruit we bought at the "Farmers Market", last Saturday. Rainier Cherries, Apricots, & Peaches.. wonderful fruit up here in the Northwest.
