The sun is finally out and it is beautiful here in the desert southwest. This is the weather that we love and the weather that so many snowbirds travel here for. It is spring training in the valley and so we are bombarded with baseball loving fans. I love baseball and can't wait until April 5th when the season officially starts.

As my boys grew up they were very involved in baseball from T-ball to seniors and then playing in high school, Kent coached Little League for many years.. Kristan played softball and so there were a couple months each summer when every night had a game or a practice.. seems like forever ago and then again it seems like yesterday..Now I have grandsons in baseball and get to go to their games..
Last week I attended the choir concert of Shadow Mountain High School to hear my grandaughter Karleigh perform. She had a solo again and was great.. I really don't know where my grandchildren inherited this musical talent from.. definitely not from me. Taylor, Karleigh, Coleton, Zack and Maddy all love music and love to perform.. Track season has started at the high schools and so my grandson Kelly is keeping busy with that. He won his race on Saturday.. Don't know where he and his dad get their love for running either..again, not from me.. My oldest grandson Dylan sent in his papers to church headquarters for his mission, so we are anxious to hear where he will be sent to serve and when he will be leaving. This coming Saturday is the baby shower for my soon to be born "great grandaughter Malorie".. I have been working on some really cute things for the shower and will share pictures after Saturday..
