I agree with this quote.. my mom was wonderful and such an amazing example to me of what a mother should be. She taught me how to be a mom, a friend, a wife and all the things I would need to be a success in my life. She passed away 11 years ago and I miss her every day.. But smile at the wonderful memories I have of her and with her.. She was such a gentle person with a heart of gold. So Mom this day is for you and those wonderful memories.
On this day I also think about how lucky I am to be a Mom and Grams to terrific people. They all give me the greatest pleasure to be a part of each of their lives. I am so lucky to have my children and their families live close to me.. so that I can be involved with them on a daily basis.
A mother gives birth not just to a child,
but to a greater vision of love and joy than she
could ever hope for herself.
