Today is a beautiful day and in the high "90's" again.. I am ready for cooler weather to stay around.. One thing that is nice are the evenings..they are so very comfortable.. Today my son Steve is coming over with his "long hose" to help me clean off my patio and the furniture on it.. My hose hook-up is in the front of my condo and so we have to snake the hose through the interior to the patio on the back side.. I'm really looking forward to having this completed so I can sit out there and enjoy the beautiful view and the great weather..(soon to come)..
Tomorrow we have a Super Saturday Craft day at church and I am in charge of one of the cute items we are making. It is an advent calendar.. to help count down the days till Christmas.. so I have been working on getting all the pieces cut, bought and organized for the 15 gals who are taking my class..
My embossed card class was this past Weds. and we had a great time creating these fun cards.. Even finished class by 9:40 a record time.. Dry embossing and cutting out really does take time.. But really worth it in the end..

Four of the cards we made on Weds.
Just found out I am going to go to Seattle the first weekend of November with my daughter Kristan to visit my granddaughter Marissa.. I am so excited to go back to Seattle, we lived there from 1966 until 1971 and I really loved it.. So many fun things to do there and the weather should be wonderful. We are staying at the Marriott on the waterfront so I can get as much of the water as possible. I would live there if my family wasn't in Phoenix.. One of my favorite places in the US.
Have An Adventure
Twenty years from now you will be more dissapointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in you sails. Explore - Dream - Discover
