Smile

I have been pondering on what to post on my blog since my last post on the 22nd.. Just been keeping busy with my daily life: teaching classes, working on new samples for next month, a trip to Prescott last Weds. with Kristan & Connie to scout out the scrapbook stores up there, a bridal shower for a friends daughter, getting my car serviced, cleaning house.. Just busy stuff .

Smile is what I wasn't doing yesterday morning as I noticed the photo radar camera flash my way as I was driving into Prescott. Kristan and I were on our way there for the day.. she was calling on a scrapbook store to write orders and I was spending time with my friend Cheryl, who has a summer home up there. While on the way up we were chatting and missed the turnoff to Prescott. so we had to turn around and then take the back way in.. wrong move: 2 lane road mostly NO passing and we were behind a big truck, of course going slower than I wanted to go.. So by the time we made it back to the main road into town, we were running a little late and I might have been going a little faster than the speed limit.. On that stretch of road the speed limit goes from 75 to 65 to 55 in a very short distance.. So yes I did get my picture taken ..
After I dropped Kristan off, I met up with Cheryl & she took me on a tour of Prescott and some of the restored homes up there..some are B&B's and others private homes.. So many beautiful old homes in Prescott.. We then went down town to a cute refurbished area called Bashford Courts Mall.. Such cute stores.. loved them and even got some Christmas presents while I was there.. Laughed at the quotes on signs and cards and really had a great time.. We then picked Kristan back up and headed for a cute little Mexican restaurant for lunch.. All in all a very fun day.. in spite of my photo op.

This morning I have my sliding door open for the first time since April and the cool air feels so wonderful.. can't wait until I can have the windows open all day.. Love this time of year, the fresh "cool air", the colors of fall and the wonderful scents of autumn.

The cool morning air is wonderful. So refreshing! I love having the doors and windows open first thing each day.
