It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at my house. When I moved from my house to the condo I didn't have room to put up the tree we had so I got rid of it. I went without a regular tree last year and just had the small one on the table. My grand kids were quite disturbed by the fact that I didn't have a tree.. so this year at the new Hobby Lobby I found a perfect one. It is tall and skinny and fits perfect. I covered it with all red balls and all my snowmen ornaments.. Even a snowman on the top of the tree.

I love snowmen and use them as the theme for my holiday decorations. I have all styles and sizes and love each one. The 3 below were the first ones I bought many years ago and fell in love with them. So they always have a special place to be during the holidays and this year they are embellishing the pictures of my grandchildren.
Here are a few of the many snowmen I have all sitting on the ledge in my entry way. they are joined by a few of my favorite small Boyds Bears (which I also collect and love).
This is my new snowman for this year.
He goes on the front door to welcome everyone into my home.
This is my favorite time of year, so much love in the air.
There is no end to the ways in which we can share what's in our hearts.
This is the time of year that we can think of others and all the things we can do for them. Be of service to those around you and feel the joy in your heart that comes from that service.
Share a smile, a hug, or a warm greeting to a stranger.
Giving of ourselves is the only way we can change the world, and in doing so,
we change ourselves for the better. . . forever.
