Kristan & I are heading to Seattle on Friday morning to go to the
Creating Keepsakes Convention Kent and I, and our young family lived in Seattle for 5 years after his graduation, when he was working for Boeing. Kristan was born in Seattle. We really loved living there, because there is so much to do and to see. We want to scout around while we are there and see the places we use to live.. Bothell, the University District and Bellevue. As you know I love being around the water so we are staying on the waterfront close to Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle.

The convention is in Bellevue just across the bridge over Lake Washington. I loved driving across this bridge and we drove over it so very often. We lived in Bellevue the last couple of years we were up there. So I am excited to go back and see what has changed in 38 years...
I'm sure we will have to rely on the GPS system to get us all over the area.

The most important reason we are going to Seattle is
to visit my oldest grandaughter Marissa.
She is going to Evergreen College up there and we haven't see her since May.. She is such a joy to be with and we are looking forward to spending some serious bonding time with her.

We get to pull out our winter clothes which excites me too. Since it is still in the mid 90's here in the desert southwest. Will post pictures on our return..
