Just returned from my annual summer trip to northern Idaho. I was gone 2 weeks and they were filled with so many fun things.
*Lunches with Judy and girlfriends
*Shopping and a trip to Lewiston so we could shop at the Eddie Bauer Outlet
*Going to the Movies
*Visiting Judy & Jim's new house that is being built
*Meeting friends at Starbucks in the mornings
My Niece Bridget participated in the Coeur d' Alene "Ironman Race"
We got up very early so we could drive in from Hayden Lake
to be there for the start at 7:00 a.m. They had 2,900 participants in the race this year.
Bridget is the one in the middle in the back with the white cap on,
her dad is the one to her left with the red cap on, ready for the 2.5 mile swim.
We were able to catch her riding the bike at two different locations on her 112 mile ride.
Starting the last leg of the race a 26.2 mile marathon, feeling good.
Bridget at the finish line... we were so proud of her
So glad I got to see the race and be there for Bridget the entire day.
We got home around 1 a.m., so it was a very long day, but SO WORTH IT.
Spent 3 days at my niece Jamie's cabin on Hayden Lake
Their cabin at Hayden Lake is just about 35 minutes from Lake Coeur d' Alene.

The fields around Moscow all the way to Spokane are beautiful rolling hills of green. All different shades of green, just breathtaking. I am usually there later in the summer and the fields are all golden ready to harvest.. it is such a beautiful drive with the clear blue sky and the green fields.
We spent one evening on the Uof I golf course; Judy and Jim played,
I took pictures and helped drive the golf cart.
We visited Judy & Jim's house construction a couple times each day.

It is close to where they are living so it was very convenient to drop by.
I saw crop dusters flying low over the green rolling crops, pheasants walking across the street, beautiful flowers and yards, squirrels scurrying up trees, I enjoyed beautiful cool weather & spending time with Judy was the best . .. all in all I had a great visit.
