A day with the girls

Yesterday after work I met my girls Kristan (my daughter) Jamie & Karen (my daughter-in-laws) and my grandaughters Marissa & Morgan at the movies to see Mama Mia.. I know it is the 3rd time to see it for me.. but I want to see it again and again.. The music and the location and the people in it are wonderful.. I catch myself humming the songs all the time. Morgan and I were the only ones who had seen it before.. So fun to be with my girls.. all sitting on the row with the bar to rest our feet, enjoying a fun movie, eating popcorn and laughing and singing along.. and inspired me to visit Greece even more.. That is on my bucket list as places to visit.
Then in the evening Kristan had invited me to join their family for a fun family night. We attended a musical production "Saturdays Warrior & The White Star". Saturday's Warrior came out 35 years ago and we saw it in 1987..White Star was the sequel to the original play. It was held in the new Gilbert High School theater (huge).. about 45 miles from here.. But well worth the drive. The music was beautiful and the messages were so meaningful. This is a traveling ensemble that performs all over the country. It started at 7:30 and ended at 10:30.. so late nite.. the theater was packed with families having a fun evening together. So it was a very musical day for me.. Today I am kitting card kits for tomorrows class.
