The Palouse

The Palouse is what this northern part of Idaho is called, Traditionally, the Palouse region was defined as the fertile hills and prairies north of the Snake River, today it refers to the entire wheat-growing region.. Yesterday Judy and I took a road trip to Lewiston, Idaho. It is located about 30 miles south of Moscow. The road to Lewiston winds through the rolling hills of beautiful wheat fields the whole way. They are turning golden and some are starting to be harvested. We shopped and ate lunch there and then returned to Judy's. Last night we had dinner on the deck again & the weather was perfect..
