I'm home

Well my two weeks in the great northwest are over.. I had such a great time in Idaho and Washington. My 2 weeks up there twice a year are so much fun. Visiting with family and friends and just enjoying the weather in the cooler country. I go in the summer to get a break from the heat and I go in the winter to see some snow that we don't have here. Judy comes down to see me in the spring to get away from the dreary weather up north and then again in the fall to have fun.

On my last day up there we spent it in Spokane.. It is a fun town..they have revamped their downtown and you can spend the entire day there and not have to move your car, which is what we did. Our bus arrived in Spokane at 8:30 a.m. and we walked to Judy's daughters office and borrowed Jamie's car for the day. We first had a delicious breakfast at the beautiful Davenport Hotel.
We then walked over to River Park Square for a day of shopping, lunch at Nordstroms and then a movie.

These are the escalators going up and you know how I LOVE heights..yikes.

We had dinner that evening at PF Changs with Judy's husband Jim and their daughter Jamie and her husband John. Fun evening.. When we arrived back at Jamie & Johns it was time for bed, since I had to get up at 5 a.m. the next morning to catch an early flight home.. Glad to be back, it's fun to get away but always good to be back home. I am getting my card kits put together for my card class next week..
