As I was leaving the cookie exchange I turned the corner and sitting in the middle of the road was a animal.. At first I thought it was a cat until it turned and faced me. & I saw the face and realized it was a raccoon. I had heard stories of raccoons from my daughter Kristan who sees them when she goes to work at night and my son Steve. has been spotting them in his back yard 2 or 3 at a time. It was my first vision of a raccoon.. You wouldn't think they were an animal that would live in the desert.. but it sure was cute..Wednesday, December 16, 2009
Evenings
On Sunday & Monday evening I delivered my surprise gift to my kids and their families. This week I made them each a Christmas frame to put their Christmas picture in.. I painted, sanded and cut out the word in vinyl. They turned out pretty cute and I was excited to give them to my kids. They all loved them.
Yesterday I baked cookies for the Cookie exchange I was attending last night. I baked sugar crispies that had a gumdrop in the center. They are crunchy and look very Christmasy..
Here are the cookies I brought home.. There were not 2 alike, which is really great with 12 different gals baking..
