On Thursday I attended the graduation of my grandson Kelly. It was a big class of 489 graduates and the entire venue was packed. We all went out to dinner before hand at one of Kelly's favorite Mexican restaurants, then carpooled to the high school by 5:30 to make sure we were able to get a seat. Thank goodness we were able to get seats on the west side, so we didn't have to face the sun on this 99 degree day in the desert southwest waiting for the program to start at 7:00. Kelly is going to attend a local Jr. college for one semester, then he will be heading on his mission for our church..
So happy I could be a part of this special day for Kelly.
On Saturday my daughter-in-law Karen celebrated her birthday.. Such a sweetheart..

This coming week we have a big family get together on Monday for Memorial Day & to celebrate the birthdays of our family for the last month. Then on Wednesday I get to attend the Arizona School for the Arts end of the year "Showcase", held at Phoenix Symphony Hall. Both my grandaughter Maddy and my grandson Zack will be performing. I'm sure it will be an amazing evening.
