A grama's heart aches

I have 2 very brave, very sick grandaughters. I have shared the story of Morgan with you and just found out that she is back in severe pain again. They don't know why, or how, but her pain is almost unbearable. the pain specialist and the PT are both working so hard to try and figure out how to deal with this RSD and how to give Morgan the relief and comfort she needs. Morgan is getting so frustrated about missing school and missing life really. Please keep her in your prayers..
I know that prayers are answered.
My other grandaughter going through a really tough time is Alli, she is just 7 years old and has been suffering with dermatomysitis, a neuro muscular disease that attacks the muscles in her body. She was diagnosed about 3 years ago and they have used various medications to try and keep it controlled. She has been on a very strong dose of chemo to try and halt the progression of this terrible disease. The steriods in the drugs have caused her to blow up like a balloon. Alli is such a trooper, she has monthly scan, blood work and never complains. This morning they are going to the Phoenix Childrens Hospital for a new procedure for Alli. It is an IV-G treatment. It is an infusion that takes 8 hours. Yesterday Alli asked her dad if it would be like a shot or like an IV, when he said it is an IV, Alli said" I don't want to talk about it then". she will have one of these treatments a month for 6 months and if the Dr's can see progress they can start to wean her off of those steroids. Could you include Alli in your prayers also.
So as you can see, my heart is breaking for these 2 very special grandaughters. I just wish I could make it better, but all I can do is be a support to my children and grandchildren and be diligent in my prayers for them.

Life is not a path of coincidence, happenstance, and luck, but rather an unexplainable, meticulously charged course for one to touch the lives of others and make a difference in the world.
