It's going to be a great day

Yesterday I had the priviledge of teaching my advanced card classes at Mad Scrappers. I had 2 classes; one in the morning and one in the evening. Each class was full of wonderful, fun ladies. I really look forward to teaching my classes each month..

I just talked to Steve and asked about Alli's day at PCH yesterday. He said all went well. The last time Alli had an I.V. they had to try "3" times to get it in, and you know how bad that hurts..so Alli was a little anxious, but was so happy to see the tec. who can do it so easy in "1" try come into the room. This tec. in fact had the day off yesterday and came in just to get Alli's I.V. started. Steve said Alli was a bit ticked off because they put I.V. in her left hand and since she is left handed she couldn't draw or color.. all went well with the infusion.. and she is back in school today. The Dr. said that they just completed treatment on a patient who has the same condition as Alli and it was a complete success.. The auto immune condition is in complete remission.. so we are hoping for the same results in Alli.

Morgan had a good day, Kristan was able to find someone to come to the house and give Morgan a massage. She said she closed the drapes, lit candles and put a Jim Brickman soft music CD on and so Morgan could really relax. When I talked to Kristan at 10:30 this morning, Morgan was still asleep from 9pm last night.. So that is a good thing..

At 4:00 today I pick up my sister Judy..YEAH.. We are so excited to have 17 days of fun.. Movies, lunch and dinner out and shop, shop & more shopping. We have so much fun together.. She is excited to get away from the waist high snow in her front yard and I'm excited to have someone to do things with all day..
