I have a "20" year old grandaughter

Saturday was the birthday of my first grandaughter. She was "20" . . . wow the years went by so fast.. It seems just like yesterday that we were at St. Josephs Hospital awaiting her birth. She has been such a joy in my life. Her upbeat personality is contagious to be around. She is such an adventurer too. During her high school years, she didn't follow the crowd, she stepped out of the box and followed her heart. She looked at what was available and persued it, she had many trips because of her initive, Washington DC, Chicago, Seattle.. she is attending BYU in Utah, and lives in Salt Lake City. She is so ambious, last semester she had 19 credit hours and worked 30 hours a week.. she said she is not going to do that again.. She is now working and going to night school, so she can accomplish her goals. Last summer she worked in Washington, D.C and this summer she is working in Seattle. The fall semester she has applied to be a part of a work program in the Ukraine where she will be teaching english to elementary age children. I am so very proud of her and her accomplishments and proud that she is MY grandaughter.
