Don't they look beautiful? Those pretty orange blossoms? But watch out..they are really wicked..just pretending to be so pretty and fragrant, but in reality they wreck havoc on my head!
Last we talked I was down for the count with allergies.. I thought I had the battle won.. was feeling great and breathing again until I ventured out last evening and drove with the windows down..the evening was beautiful and I was downtown Phoenix.. aka "orange blossom heaven".. forgot all about that and by the time I arrived home I couldn't breathe again..so I quickly took my night time meds and waited for about 1 1/2 hours for the effects to kick in so I could get to bed..by 1:00am..shees.. Will I ever learn.. So this morning I have no voice and can't breathe.. back on my regimen for a day or two.. Well anyway the reason I was downtown last night was to attend my grandaughter Maddy's Spring choir concert at the Arizona School for the Arts. She is in the advanced Foundation II Ladies Chorus.. the evening was wonderful . Four different choirs performed and the music was amazing. Each choir sang 5 songs and they ran from Broadway to popular to classical and I loved it.. So it was worth venturing to the "orange pollen infested area of town".. to see Maddy perform...
Last Friday I missed my grandaughter Taylor's performance in "Willy Wonka" since that was the first day of my allergy onset..I hate to miss my grandchildren in their performances... I had been at her softball game the evening before and the wind was really blowing and so were the orange blossom pollen . I was glad that I was able to go to her game and see how great she is on the ball field.. She pitched for a couple innings and hit every time she was up to bat. She loves to steal base and is so fast. Softball is her great love. . . .
My grandson Kelly had his prom last Saturday and he was so handsome and his date looked so pretty. He is a Junior so this is his first prom and he said it was fantastic..
