Long ago and far away in a small town in Idaho, I was waiting for my baby brother who I already named James Robert (Jimmy for short) to arrive and to my surprise my mom and dad brought home a baby girl...I welcomed my baby sister to "my" world. I was 4 years old and thought it was like having my own baby doll to care for. At the time we lived in an apartment above my grandparents house. Our family soon moved to our new house in the country with 1 1/2 acres and lots of room for us to grow up together and play. The memories I have of growing up with my sister are priceless, and I am so lucky that she is still my best friend. We get to spend several weeks together each year and I look so forward to those times. Today is her birthday and for the past several years I have been at her house on her birthday..so I'm missing this fun day with her.. But we celebrated when she was in Phoenix last week. (a cool note, even though I didn't get my baby brother Jimmy, Judy married him, so I really got my brother Jim).

THANK YOU, so much, for being such a special "big sister!" (And, for not choosing some of the horrific pictures of me that you could have posted!!) :0) We are SOOOO lucky--to have a sister AND a best friend!!! I am missing you today, too!! Love you!!!
