The Last Day in April

Wow, this month really flew by... since I talked to you last..my allergies have subsided. YEAH .
My oldest grandson Dylan had his prom last Saturday and he looked so handsome and his date looked darling. Dylan is a Senior and will be graduating on May 27th.. Wow I will have 3 grandkids out of high school then...

Went to see "The Soloist" with Connie on Monday afternoon. Great movie. I really loved it.. I think both Jamie Fox & Robert Downey Jr. should win awards. I love to see movies that are based on true stories.
On Tuesday I had my annual visit to my eye Doctor. She is so thorough and caring when it comes to my eyes. She had the latest equipment for looking into my eyes and shows me each screen and the pictures of the inside of my eyes and explains each test and why she is doing it and what the results are. In general my eyes are in great shape, health wise. I am developing a small cataract on my right eye. It has been there for a couple years and she said it is still small, but that I might see cloudiness when my eyes are tired.. Which I told her was happening. She did a new test that takes a picture of your eyes like a cat scan does of the brain. No two eyes are alike, not even my own two eyes. thru this new test she was able to see the irregularities in my vision and customize my lenses. I will be able to see clearer, sharper and more vivid that ever with my new High Definition lenses.. the tough part is that these new lenses will not be transitional lenses that darken in the sunlight.. So I had to get sun glasses too..OUCH.
But my eyes are important and I want to take the best care of them.. So now I am anxious to get my new glasses..

I have been trying to organize closets and cupboards, tackled my closet first and was able to take a large load to Good Will.. Now I am going to the next ones..

Last night I had my monthly "All About Me" class at my home. We worked on 2 layouts, the first one was about our "First Car", it was fun to hear each one talk about what their first car was and when they got it. The next layout was a 2 page spread entitled "The 100 things I love" filled with words and embellishments of those things that are special to us. It is a project that will be finished at home. I loved making my original one about 7 years ago and I re-did it for this class last night and it was funny how some things had changed and were not on my list and new things were.

Tonight I have 2 ballgames to attend, my grandson Coleton has a baseball game and my grandaughter Taylor has another softball playoff tournament game. At her game on Tuesday night she learned that she had made the "All Star Team".

I am getting my embossed card kits ready for class next week..
